This is a gorgeous Late Woodland - White Quartz LEVANNA triangle. Found on the rocky shoreline of Cape Cod Bay.

Based on its size and the location it was found, the utilization would likely be a hunter/fisherman’s harpoon tip.

With just a tiny tip-ding and a little off-symmetry, it’s a case centerpiece (IMO).

***A unique and interesting feature was created via basil thinning strikes leaving step-fractures resembling two side-by-side shallow flutes on one side of the point.

That’s a great find and a great photo sequence. Love the location. Probably too large to be an arrowhead, more likely a knife or spear. Very cool either way. Congrats.

Good pics of a very nice quartz triangle. The features you pointed out make it unique as well as it's size. Thanks and congrats.

Congratulations! :icon_thumright: That's an awesome find, and beautiful material.

Nice find , that’s quite a favorable low tide you got there looks like a great place I bet you could spend hours there easily

Thank you
Low tide presents a wide swath to search. Though, the hunt is much more favorable after the north wind has churned the surf and had its way with that shoreline.
