Nice finds. I'm sure someone on here can help with typology.

Great work erinpelord! Your killing it out there. It must be 400* in TX!

Below is a link to a very good site with many examples of Texas Point Types. Focus on the notched forms.

It’s always helpful to post clear photos showing both sides with particular attention to the base, flaking and notching details.

Can you observe any grinding on the stem?

Thanks for all the replies back! I’m really new to this and just started hunting arrowheads back in the spring. Distinguishing between broken flint and worked flint has been the most difficult part to develop an eye for. I just found my first point on July 1 and since then have found 4, one of those being broken in half. I appreciate y’all taking the time to give me feedback on the history so I can learn more.

And yes, it is extremely hot!

Here are some clearer front and back pictures of each one.

I’ve definitely invested all my free time at the creek or river. I’m not sure why I didn’t get into this a long time ago. It’s been a fun, frustrating and patience testing experience lol. Also found out I’m extremely allergic to poison ivy and poison oak.[emoji51]

Texas has some of the best artifacts anywhere IMO. A lot of diggers there too. You might want to try your luck at that since it's legal to do it in Texas! Best of luck to you.
