I do a LOT of road trips and on the road dump rolls at banks. I also realize that LOTS of other people do this too. Today as I went through $400 in rolled halfs in a parking lot..yes they were someones dumps...I just had to shake my head. Even though I KNOW they are dumps, I still HAVE to go through every roll in case they missed one. This has never happened. Well I got to thinking, I drop off a few hundred in rolls at some bank or another every day. And some poor fool, just like me, goes through them to be disapointed at the end. So my new plan is to start seeding my dumps with a 40% or two. I know it will make someones day to at least find something in a pile of clad. I may never be able to witness the joy, but I will know someone smiled.

that's a very noble thing to do, I don't think I'd be able to do it. Every piece of silver I find I need to keep, because that's why I'm in it. Just think about the other people who hunt too, the dumps you search. I doubt anyone else will do the same bro. If you find dumps you find them but keep the treasure you find, there's nothing wrong with keeping all the ones that you "earned" on your own. Either way, good luck on your hunts.

It's hard for me to part with my finds.. I've already been buying gifts for banks who order and even occasionally my main dump bank. I've been very generous with them. With the gas the way it is, I just can't bring myself to give the finds away.
