just got permission to hunt a old farmhouse site.A church purchased the property and have removed all the cars and other big junk. With a little research I found the development company which led me to the church. The house and old privy are still standing as well as another out building who knows what we will find any sugestions?

Speaking of new places to hunt.....While driving in western Kansas pheasant hunting I noticed there were literally dozens of abandoned houses and barns, 3 or 4 in every section. Next time I go that way I'm taking my detector with me right along side my shotgun!

Sounds good to me. I see places like that often when I am traveling to gun shows or out hunting. It's just difficult to find someone to get permissiion from if there is no one living or working close by. I'm leary of trespassing so I always want permission first, no matter how tempting. Spotz

Spotz, What I discovered about western Kansas is that if youi will stop in at the cafe at the nearest little town about 7:00AM you will either find the owner or someone who knows him. All the farmers gather at the wattering holes for coffee about that time.
