no tease here--the landowner gave us the go at an early 1800's huge homestead and we (FMERG is the other digger) spent some time chatting about his vast Native American collection and then he whips out the porn---FEAST ON HIS CHILDHOOD SURFACE FIND
War of 1812 button. now to the digs---an '04 IH, double convex button, a solid brass doorknob at 2 3/4" X 1" weighs 4.9 ounces. the curved brass item is a "no eye deer" item, I found the same piece at the area farm where we spent 10 weeks diggin'. a Corbin key and NOT 1 SILVER coin to be founda fresh load of bear scat was in his front yard. the place gets a return visit when some of the brush gets cleared--then we hunt the still, other privy and some foundations. I am humbled to have seen and held that amazing button
