I just can't take sitting here waiting for the ground to thaw, so I decided to try the park next door to my new place and see what I could find. After about an hour hunting I managed a 1906 IH, a 1953 rosie and a real sweet 1904 barber dime. I dinged the rosie trying to chip it out of the frozen ground......"Dang"! hope your all finding lotsa goodies!

Wow, awesome barber. Nice condition too.

I knew it wouldn't take you long! Hopefully you are in an area that doesn't get hunted much and you can clean house. I am trying to make it out a little on the weekends now and will be hunting more when business gets caught up a little more. Keep posting your finds and watch for mine, I plan on finding some good ones here soon. Talk to you later!

Darn.... Where is it still frozen ??? Sorry to hear that. Nice barber, merc and IH. Great start . I know what you mean. I went on a few hunts in the snow. I couldn't take it anymore, either :icon_sunny:

The Barber dime is sweet. i have never found one.Congrats

Sweet! congrats. Frozen ground sucks espeicially when you can move like 5 feet over and dig to china..

Nice. I'm going to try to find my First Barb next week at my honey hole I'm calling it. I found a Comm. Half Dollar 1893

I take it the winter wasn't mild in Michigan. Hopefully it starts to thaw soon. Very nice barber. Definately worth the extra work.
