hi guys ive just purchased my first metal detector. Ive always wanted one i purchased a used garrett 350...any advise for a beginner and on my garrett 350...i want to bring it to greece but i think their are laws on finding antique coins and such...any information is appreciated look forward to your replies

I want to welcome you to treasure net! Im fairly new to metal detecting also. I have a Garrett Ace 250, and the best advice I could give you is get out there and start learning your machine. Read the instruction manual over and over till you know all the features. See what it sounds like with a penny, nickel, dime , quarter, gold ring, and silver ring. Thats what I did it really helps out with knowing your machine. John
