Hi there, My name is Mike and I live in michigan.
I have been metal detecting since 81 or 82 ( cannot remember ) hehe.
I had another user name here from many years ago, but for the life of me I cannot remember the details.
Well I had taken a break from MDing for the last 6 years since my pops passed on, we did it together, and was kinda painfull to do it after, but hey! the bug has once again bitten me and so I am rearing to go, unfortunately my trusty fisher 1265x has finally crapped out on me, was and is my only detector since way back then, and man o man do I have some memories with that thing, it's so old now I doubt fisher would even have the parts to fix it lol...but it would be nice, have alot of sentimental attachment to it.
Anyway ( sorry I am a chatter box
)
I am buying a new machine and will post about that later.
