New Member with F70 Questions

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and just received my F70. I am very excited to get started with it but had a couple of questions that maybe others with more insight and can provide at this time. I live in South Florida near the beaches and plan to do quite a bit of searching on them as well as spending time at local parks. So here are my questions:

1. Being that this a new machine and I am unfamiliar with it, can somebody in a similar locale tell me their favorite F70 settings for beach combing? It would be nice to have a basic setup to try and then find what works best for me through trial and experimentation.

2. I got the standard 10" coil with mine. Can someone tell me the advantages that the 11" DD would give me and if it truly provides enough enhancement to be worth purchasing?

3. Has anyone opted to try one of the butterfly coils that Kellyco and others offer? Would one of those provide additional benefit over the stock coil?

When i got my F-70 i used it on factory sets for a while just to get used to the machine.. I hunt the shores of lake michigan,and i know the sand is quite different, but hunting at factory sets and doing sand and going to tot lots chipped bark and or sand in 30 days i did find about a hundred in change... i do play with the settings now but i could not tell you what they would be as each time i try something diff just to see how it works... i do like it cause its light to swing and its a miser on batteries i get over 40 hrs with alkaline AA from dollar general store think like 20 batteries for 5 bucks ....
