Hello,
My name is Todd. I'm one of the frozen chosen in northern MN.
Digging is a little tough right now, so to satisfy the urge to be-boop around the ground I'll read about what others are finding where the ground isn't frozen.
I wanted to get a detector for some time, and after doing some research I decided the AT Pro was the way to go. The day I got the machine last April I put it together and found a spot in the yard that was snow free. I hit a high tone right away and dug it.... through frost.... 1917 Merc!!! Well needless to say the hook was set. I have been pretty successful in my area as I am preety much alone in the area when it comes to metal detecting. A friend of mine saw my success and got a detector also. I look forward to many hours of detecting with him next year.
