Hello,
My wife and I just joined up. We're just getting started in gold Prospecting. Joined GPAA about 3 weeks ago. Coker Creek TN. chapter. We are planning a trip this weekend to Coker Creek / Tellico Plains area. Right now we just have hand dredges or sucker tubes, pans, classifiers, buckets, sluice box, metal detector, misc. hand tools, shovels, bars, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go in that area. We don't mind hiking off the beaten path. And what kind of gold can we honestly expect to find in that area? Thanks!

Sorry I can't be of any help with gold prospecting, but :hello: Welcome to tnet!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Tennessee for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Hey Digger2,
Are you forgetting about Arnold on Green Acres? That was one smart and happy pig. LOL
