New Member - Had To Share This Great Find - 1922 Peace Dollar

Will try this again. Hello all, I'm new to this forum but had to share this great find. I hope the post isn't to long but I wanted to give you a history. My wife and I sell on E-Bay and spend our weekends "prospecting" for treasures to sell. I purchased an old jewelry box today and when I got it home I noticed an internal rattle.When I pulled the drawers out I had a very nice suprise , A mounted 1922 Peace Dollar.The coin has a nice rainbow around the entire edge and Liberty's face is sillouetted with a rainbow as well. The back side of the coin is gold tone with nice green, blue and purple rainbow as well-WOW I own 3 detectors but haven't been out in a while, but I can honestly say that I have never pulled anything like this out of the ground. I don't have a clue as to value, does anyone else?

No idea on the value but that thing is WAY cool! I saw the other post with the picture of the other side, very nice.

Wow thats nice. I googled "1922 peace dollar". Man! There are alot of those things around. They range in price from 8 or 9 dollars up to $100! Thats not too bad for a freebie! Break out those detectors and go find one for yourself!

Value inc. the bezel on a 1922 peace dollar in EF condition as that looks to be is approx. $15 ($12 for the coin alone).
