Welcome aboard! I asked Kinchafoonee to consider visiting TN and so I'd like to introduce him. He is a good friend of mine here in Southwest Georgia and is very knowledgeable of Indian artifacts from our area. We have hunted together on and off for more than twenty some years. I think he will be a valuable member on this site and when he has the chance to post some of his finds you may think the same.

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Georgia for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

I was raised in Albany. Been in Lee county for 20+ years. Live just outside Leesburg now. We should get together. I wiil send you a freind request. Are you into artifacts or metal detecting? I am an artifact fanatic! LOL

Do you know my friend Jim GaRebel1861 on this forum? He's the one who invited me to this forum. He is a standup guy I have known and hunted with for many years. He is into metal detecting too.
The old town site of Starksville is a short distance from my house. He finds alot of stuff there.
sent you a fiend request a moment ago.

I would like to thank all for the warm welcome to TN. Have already met some great people and seen some awesome artifacts. Look forward to sharing, learning and good fellowship through our shared interest.

Hi Charley,
Forgive me but I don't get on here much and I'm trying to figure out how to use this forum ( a bit user unfriendly), but I am figuring it all out! I just now saw your post. Yes I met Jim Garebel1861 last year and have chatted with him several times! Wonderful guy, loaded with a ton of historical knowledge and I have a lot of respect for him. I'm into metal detecting coins mostly, but any old artifact makes my mouth water! I always try to imagine who the last person was that actually dropped a coin, or a artifact or anything old. I hunted with Jim this past Saturday matter of fact. I always keep an eye open for arrowheads as well. I live in Lee county and have been in the area for the last 30 years...
