I am new to the Forum and basically new to Metal Detecting. I grew up around metal detectors and have owned a few over the years. I was more a casual user. Time has always been my issue but I do enjoy getting out and just messing with my detectors.

I'm in Claremore. I was out today just testing the new equipment. Found a couple pennies and a few bottlecaps. I was just messing with the dector and getting use to the settings.

I use to do a lot of arrowhead hunting. Mainly on Claremore Mound. Where you are looking? I think it would be fun to meet.

Never been to Claremore Mound but out north of town I have been hunting on private property where an Indian Village was known to exist. Found a spear and a scraper the other day.
