I just wanted to say hi to everyone and give you a little info about myself. I am Frank, I live in East Tennessee, am a 60 year old divorced and retired Federal Government Employee and a Vietnam Era Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. I purchased my' first metal detector, a White's 2000-D in Florida and made many finds over the years. Although since leaving Florida, I have not had much time to metal detect not had much luck when I did, I have usually kept 1 or more metal detectors for the just in case scenarios. Since getting into Gold Prospecting, I have bought and sold quite a few metal detectors over the years and now own seven. My most recent purchases were a Minelab Sovereign Elite like new in the box and a White's Goldmaster II just today along with an unknown coil. I will post a query later in the General Discussion forum in hopes of finding what is the maker and model of the coil and which metal detector(s) it will work on. I was told that it was for a Minelab but the seller did not know which model.

Again hi and I hope to have some great times discussing metal detecting and finds on here!

Hey Frank... Brad (Limitool) here from the middle TN. area. I live in the Centerville area and will be 58 years old in Aug. I too am retired and have been since 2006 from the auto industry. I am new to MD and am learning. But what I do have is a HUGE sense of adventure. I am married, raised eight kids which are 24-38 years old. Now... I have 8 dogs, 20+ grandkids (and wife) and want to EXPLORE treasure hunting. I live in a rural area with a potential for some good finds. I live 7 miles east of Centerville TN. and about 20 miles west of Columbia TN. just off Hwy 50. I live not far from Natchez Trace. The entire area around me is entirely wooded with the original road between Centerville and Columbia running right through my back yard to the original Duck River crossing. I'm getting ready to "detail explore" a cave I found on Wed. this week. If you ever get close to this area let me know and we'll MD on this trail. So far its a horseshoe haven. Much more to this though Frank.... Later, Brad

Welcome from middle Tennessee and thank you for your service!

Thanks everyone for the welcomes! I hope to make some amazing finds in the future and post them here. In the meantime, I will do what I can to help others with advice, information and queries about items.
