Minelab Equinox 800 & White's Eagle
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Hello. My wife and tried metal detecting about 10 years ago, but it never really got off the ground as we had no idea where to go and we sold our detectors. This past weekend we were garage sailing in our neighborhood and I found and purchased a
White’s Eagle with everything in the case for $10! It is in great shape and it may actually be the best find I'll have... The bug hit me though and I went out the next day to Scheels, and purchased a Minelab Equinox 800 since they were running a 20% discount for Father's Day. I figured $719 was about as good price as I would find for this model and my up all night Saturday research sold me on this detector. I will keep the Whit's as well for my wife and/or 8 year old son. I went out to the local playground yesterday after work and made my first find with the Equinox. I look forward to some good finds and possibly finding a local club or buddy to detect with.
