Hi! Glad I found the website. I enjoy seeing who is doing what. I have ben enjoying Youtube video's too. Lots of treasure hunting stuff there... I have been interested on and off since I was a teenager! I am 53 now. I had a simple toy like metal detector back in the 70's and I found an old relic car jack... Like a Model-T car jack in my front yard in Michigan. I moved to Florida in 1980 and have been here ever since. I bought Tesoro detector a few years ago but never did anything with it and sold it. I think I found a wheat penny in my front yard.

Just recently I was bitten by the treasure hunting bug again and purchased a simple Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 and found several coins in my front yard at my home in Tallahassee. Including a Spanish coin! Frustrated at pin pointing the finds I just broke down and purchased a Bounty Hunter pinpointer and I love it. I wish this model was a little louder. Actually it is not super sensitive - which is actually good! I would rather hear the tone when I am right next to the find rather than signals from all around. I can hover my "big rig" if I wanted to do that.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am wondering if there are any enthusiasts in the Big Bend area of Florida. Maybe a club?

God bless....
