I am new to the site and I just wanted to say hello and see if someone could help me identify this object. I found it near where I found a model t headlight rim and a model t valve cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. I don’t recognize the item but I’m sure someone will.

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Welcome .. your find looks like a center knock-out from an old metal drum, similar to this one. When I was a kid living on the farm, some of the 5 gallon buckets of hydraulic fluid and motor oil had similar knockouts.

No it's definitely not that. It has what appears to be some sort of electrical connection on the opposite side of that flat area at the top of the picture.
