Detector(s) used
Currently using: XP DEUS, T2 SE and the Garret Carrot lol
Have used: Garret Ace 250, Garret AT Pro, Garret Pro Pointer
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
Picked up an xp deus for an amazing price a couple days ago and hit my pounded site for a little bit and let's say it's not hunted out still after an at pro and my T2 SE hitting it over the years. It's hard to date this site because I've been finding stuff from 1864 and up and today found my favorite buckle ever so far, anyone know the date of the buckle? Two Wheaties a 20 and 46, 22 brass cartridges, .22 lead bullet I think, a 1946 cereal box sky king ring, a lead hem weight, rivete, square nails actually love finding these lol and my favorite find and first for me a 1916 barber quarter. Also would like to give Calabash digger credit, I used his pitch program and it did a wonderful job!!

Late 19th C horse harness buckle.

Well done! We seem to have a few things in common. First and most importantly I am ridiculously superstitious and 8 is my lucky number. And you my smart friend have an 8 in your name lol. I also used a T2 SE for years and just bought a new Deus. I too found a bunch of keepers from sites I’ve hammered. Don’t get me wrong here....the T2 is a fantastic machine that found me some ridiculous treasures. But the speed of this Deus is pretty astounding. I’m glad you had a successful outing right out of the gate. Should be a fun season with our new machines. Good luck

Sweet finds- that Barber's in nice shape- Congrats!

Wow that's awesome lol maybe were distant brothers haha I will always love my T2 and will keep it for a backup and two months ago the T2 found my oldest coin to date a 1775 Spanish reale but that site has yet to see the deus haha

Congratulations on the nice silver! :occasion14:

Congrats on pulling some great targets you've passed over many times before. Love those big Barbers...awesome coins, I've stumbled over a couple myself and will never forget when and where I dug each one very time I look at them...Ddf

No doubt. A very good day. Congrats

I have had my deus for a little over a year. Last night I decided to drop my favorite program down to 4.0 frequency from 7.8
I hit a yard and found a couple deep clad quarters and a couple pennies. I definitely had hit this small area before with other programs.
So tonight I hit my favorite old school playground. I found my first 50c walker, a 1917s and a 1905 v nickel. Every time I change programs
it's like a new machine! It's incredible. This school yard has been hammered for ever. I changed to a new deep program I created a couple months
ago and found my first barber quarter. I found a pull tab tonight around 10 inches and it was clear. I also hit old spots
frequently and find more and more stuff. I just keep understanding the machine better. I have a long way to go to understand this machine.
