I was hunting the early 1900s home site that I recently gound on historic aerials and decided to head towards the creek which was about 50 to 100 yards away. As soon as I got halfway to it I started finding civil war bullets. It was almost dark at that point but I still dug 3, 3 ringers and a Williams cleaner within 30 min. I believe it may have been a campsite! I hope so. I am dying to find a buckle! The other items shown were from the home site.

Congrats on finding that possible campsite! I hope it produces even more for you!

Water = people...I've found some of my best off-the-beaten-path finds in or near creeks and rivers. Congrats, great looking lead..Ddf.

Thanks, me too. It's only 1/4 mile from my house and I never knew it was there and I've lived here for over 40 years. When i was a kid I use to hunt for bottles right behind there. Now I know where they came from.

Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:
