I researched and found a new dot in the park woods, dating to the 1850 maps through the 1910 maps.
(Buggy suspension?)
Lots of limestone blocks and bricks scattered around the cellar hole made for challenging swinging, found that my 6β coil really was best suited for this site.
Lots of signals hovering around the nickel zone in the dirt, very few high tones.
Maybe the back of a straps guide?
Stamped with a β4β in the center, but no hole to act as a tag? Maybe a improvised 4 cent piece.
This has the same style and β5β as the local beer tokens I find from the 1890-1920 time frame, but not sure on this one.
My best guess on this one is a toy train wheel?
Nice sunflower suspender clasp.
2 true mystery items to me, both cast brass.
My favorite find at this site, different.
Results of 5 hrs of swinging.
Also made it out with Steve to one of his farm permissions, thanks Steve!
We had a Seated/Barber moment.
The lead piece might be an old lead pencil, not sure.
Good luck out there!
