Is anyone speculating in the new Iraqi Dinars? They are selling like crazy on E-bay. I have bought some for investment. Its high risk,but the payoff can be huge. Plus it does not take much capital to take a postion.

Been to Iraq its all American $$ not Iraq money they just burn it or give it away. To be trueful dont do it unless you are going to wait forever. Plus they where trying to make it 1 for 1 like 1 US Dollar to 1 Iraqi Dollar. When I was there it was 1500 Iraqi to 1 US $. Any ? let me now I can help.

Anybody can speculate in any currency for a 1% fee by buying american express travelers checks denominated in that currency. You will always be able to exchange them at your bank and no run on the market will destroy your position. Why make a broker rich or more properly why get broker using a broker? siegfried schlagrule

I have some. Bought at 1470:1 and it's now at 1179:1. Lots of talk about a zero lop lately.
the one who did well were the ones that bought when it was 4000:1.

hmmm, I've got a cigar box full. Bought it in 2003. I didn't realize that there had been any change since then. I was locked up for 2 years, and haven't looked at it, except when I was diggimg for something else. I guess it's worth a check though. I couldn't have bought more than 100 dollars worth or so though. So I guess I've probably got about a dollar's worth of profit in there. I'd just hate to get off it now, and in a year, whoever bought it got rich.
I do have some of the older dinars that are pretty neat though.
