I just bought a whites coin master pro yesterday day with being new i didn't want to spend to much not knowing if i would really like it. Took me an hour to get home from the local dealer took right out after getting home was in the back yard 20 mins and found a dime and a round necklace pendant. Was happy and wanted to keep going but was just to cold and ground was kinda frozen still. My question is how can i clean my finds with out damaging them i wanted to post this pic to see if someone can tell me any thing about it cause all i can make out due to dirt is 1897 onegla and just so you know also my house was built in 1893 with no real change to the out side just added a small work shop.

Hard to tell from the pix.

For cleaning, try this: take a few tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Put it in the microcwave (in a petri dish or whatever) for 20 seconds till boiling. Drop your object into the solution. You will see it fizz up. Remove object, rub or poke with wooden toothpick as necessary. Repeat as necessary.

Nice find for your 1st. congrats and keep searching. HH. yelnif...

That looks pretty cool. My detector arrives on Thursday, I live in Maryland also. I hope to be able to find some good locations that are legal.
