Been doing this now for a month. One of my employees
found some items of interest in my own backyard and
showed me.From what he told they were a scraper, pointer and a clovis
piece which prompted me to get some books to understand what is
surrounding me.I live on approximately 4500 acres which he said was rich in
historical settlements.I have attached some pics. Some may be nothing more than
my imagination but quite a few appear to equal what are in the two books I
purchased.Maybe someone can identify my various finds.I only walk creek beds
and do not dig period!!With all the rain we have received in the last two days
the creek is real high and hoping for a recede soon.<194>

Welcome to T-Net artifacts.
It looks like you will have many years exploring and learning about the past inhabitants of your property. Enjoy the journey.
Nice finds and thanks for sharing .Looks like there will be lots more to come.

Thanks for the welcome.Have read a lot of posts and truly believe I have
learned more from all the members than both books I have ravaged through.
Great attitude throughout all the posts.Nice to see the willingness to help I.D.
Uniface what scraper were you referring to from this remark:::Super endscraper, KL !!!!!!
I posted to many pics.Just a rookie mistake hopefully

Thanks for the greeting TnMountains.I have always enjoyed life as I know it.
I am truly fascinated by life as the past knew it.The rocks truly take on a
true new meaning.

Hi KL

The white triangular one in your file nr. 183 (also individually illustrated with file name "clovis"). Looks for all the world like a Clovis spurred endscraper re-faced with a burin removal to clear away old step fractures accumulated on the bit. Scarce to find one with that treatment, but they did it from time to time.
