Recently got started with a Bounty Hunter IV to see if I enjoyed the hobby. I love it! My great uncle took me a few times when I was a kid and I have wanted to be a treasure hunter ever since.

I was looking at getting the AT Max but have changed my mind and think I will go with the Equinox 800. Definitely want water proof for the beach and bayous around here.
