On Saturday, I moved into a new house in Seattle. The house was built in 1914 with a little yard so I thought I’d give it a try with my detector.
I just started a new job so I haven’t had much time to detect in the last few weeks, but having the day off for Labor Day gave me some extra time.
The first side of the yard I found 3 wheaties so I got my hopes up for something good. One of my housemates came out and was wondering what in the world I was doing. He thought it was weird until I got a solid signal about 6 inches down. Out pops a buff! Only my second of the year. Shut him up real quick when I showed him haha! Cleaned it up and realized it’s a 1914 same year as the house. No mint Mark which is rare around here but I’m stoked!
