I asked the owner of this old 1870's brick house if it would be alright to hunt and at first he said he had a detector and wanted to go over it himself. I told him that if he needed any help with his machine to give me a call. He called me last week and wondered if I could give him some tips. I hunted with him for about an hour when he told me it was more fun for him to just watch me. I ended up finding a couple wheaties and a 1898 barber dime. I let him keep the dime and he even showed me inside the house. Then when I was ready to leave he says go ahead and hunt it whenever I want so I went back today and found a 1887 V nickle and 4 indian heads. One being a 1864 L. The nickle and two ih's were in the same hole. No silver this time but havent hit the back yard yet. I cant wait to go over the rest of it.
