Hey guys this is my first MD forum. Just started hunting this year with the 'Garrett 150'. Already getting a better detector this week. I made some great finds already and can honestly say this will be a life long (at least the rest of it) hobby. Only regret is not having started sooner. I haven't looked around to much so this question might be premature but I found a medallion and a potential gold ring with no ID markings. Where can I post pictures of these 2 finds to possibly help answer what they are? Thank you in advance!

Welcome Brian! I would keep that Ace as a backup, its a good little machine.
Happy hunting!

Absolutly keeping it. Still a great tool! thank you.

Welcome to Tnet. Taken a look at the Help section above new member intros, there's lots of good information about the site.
+1 on keeping your current detector. Can't have too many and always good to have a backup. HH

Welcome! I've got the ACE 150 as well, gift from the wife this Christmas! I'm getting anxious to go try it out, it's been a bit too cold or wet since I got it.

Thanks guys! looking forwards to talking with you all!:headbang::headbang::headbang:

Welcome aboard! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

welcome from N. Mississippi. Well it sounds like the ole detecting bug has gotten to a higher point. That's a good thing. Good Luck.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Already learned a ton of info here and posting my finds!!
