One of the good things about wearing an Arrowhead necklace is that it strikes up conversations with people. A guy came into my work a few months back and we got to talking and he tells me he has three Axes, a Pestle, and what he called a Breast Plate that was actually a large Hoe. He says he'll bring them in and I can look at them and possibly buy them. Time went by and I just gave up on him.

So so yesterday I get a text asking if I'm still interested and he sends pictures. I say yes, so his girlfriend brings them by and we work out a deal on two Axes and a Pestle(which I sell to my buddy who collects them about 10 minutes later lol) for $130. I got $30 for the Pestle so I have $100 in both Axes. Pictures don't do the larger one justice. It's is really nice. The smaller one is nice too but has lots of plow marks.

Both are local finds by hunters I know. Really happy to pick these up.

Very nice, way to go!

Nice axes, lets see the hoe.

My buddy bought the Hoe and I sold him the Pestle. We were really busy at work so I didn't get pictures of either of those pieces. I'll see if he'll send pics to me.

If I can find an Arrowhead I'm going to make a nice necklace lol! Always learning from Grim. Awesome pieces.

Enjoy the Holiday!
