New Hampshire medal? Anyone identify it?

Picked this up at a yard sale a while back. It appears to be a one sided medal about the size of a half dollar. The back is blank. Anyone ever seen one and have any idea about its age and value. Not sure of its composition.

I think you are right! I wasn't familiar with them but after a couple google searches I saw one from Dartmouth that was about the same shape and color. Thanks from a fellow Mainer.
