Im new to treasurenet ive been artifact hunting for a few years. I enjoy hunting for artifact im just real limited on locations to hunt. I would like some input about the points i have pictured and also what the last picture is. I was told that it is nothing but im thinking it has to be some sort of scraper. Any info would be greatly appreciated i live in south louisiana and thats where i found these points. Thanks yall.

You've got some nice finds there so what ever locations that you do have access to are good ones. Good luck :icon_thumright:

Welcome to the forum.......some nice points you have. Like the Hardin blade you have there it is nice!!!.....................GTP(Chris)

Thanks man which one is the hardin blade i dont know much about the different types of points im very interested in learning about the different points and artifacts

In the first picture top point on the left. The two to its right look like Adena Dicksons. The last piece you are showing in your hand. That is a nice jasper knife with part of its rhine on it that which is the white part. It is either paleo or Early archaic by its looks.............nice finds........

Welcome... all very nice. That knife in your last photos is a beauty. As G.T.P. said it is very likely Paleo or early archaic.

Very nice and thanks for showing. In the group shot bottom row 2nd from left you have the bifuricated base. The smaller point. It may be very old maybe a hardaway type. And since the one by the adena is a Hardin as well puts it in the right time frame of around 6 to 9 thousand years old. I think you are on a good site. Looks like might be some old stuff and multiple occupation. Just my opinion as I do not hunt in your area.
