New Guy who's hooked on Metal Detecting!

I'm New to Metal Detecting and have never expected to find much. Got my surprise! The second time out in a lot that was just cleared for a doctors office I get a real hit. Didn't even have to dig! Thought it was a soda cap until My son shoved me aside yelling "RING". We laughed the rest of the day even though we didn't turn up another thing.
I'm Hooked my son is Hooked.

The old adage about beginner's luck is very true. I found gold my second time out and haven't found anything significant since. Hope you have better luck. A beautiful rlng and the envy meter has pegged out on this forum. Nice job! JIM
