Hello all, been browsing through here the past couple of days and wanted to introduce myself. I've learned a lot so far and everyone seems great. Just wanted to share my very first find on my first day out with my new AT Pro.

My father in law has been detecting for quite some time and has been hounding me for the past ten years to get out there with him. Well, the deal of the day came at a garage sale and I purchased my detector (less than four months old and used once) along with all the tools and finders to go with it for $350.00. Thinking it was an OK deal,I bought it. Much to the wife's dismay, I came home and showed her. She wasn't as happy as I had anticipated! Long story short, showed my father in law my deal, and he was ecstatic, over $1000.00 worth of equipment! Went out the next day with him to his secret location, stepped out of his truck, walked five feet away and he got me all set up. Took two steps and dug this out from three inches under. He was shocked and dismayed, searched that area himself a dozen times never caught it. Needless to say, I am now all in and hooked. Ended up finding about a half pound of junk after this. I'm hooked now, and he's already lined up another spot for us to go to, and told his daughter, my wife, that I'm his from now on to partner with on his outings.
