New guy from PA

no other pics loaded right now so here is one from the family bass pond......which is now my detecting hot spot, hopefully! Only been detecting a few weeks, have found a few coins, but nothing old or noteworthy...........yet............wish me luck

Hi Djm! looking forward to seeing your finds. Nice fish!! how did ya cook him? or did ya release? I don't mind keeping when it's in a stocked pond. I never thought of md'ing at the pond, great idea. not sure I could pull myself away from fishing long enough to detect, but I'll give it a try. welcome to TN

mamabear, the bass was release to fight another day, as they always are. The pond was put in 30 years ago and people in the family and their friends have been swimming there since, I am hoping to find some dropped jewelery and/or coins. I know for a fact that a very large platinum ring with a diamond was tossed "near" the water's edge 20yrs ago during a marital spat, I am hoping to come across it soon!

No Pleh, we need a detector that catches fish. Best of both worlds. Nice fish, guy and welcome to mug shots. I detect around fishing areas a lot and always remove all the old lead sinkers I find. Best of luck to you!
