Just received my first metal detector for Christmas and am really looking forward to trying it out. Been geocaching for a while and I'm always fishing, but would like another hobby that can pay you back once in a while. Would appreciate any info on where to start. I'm looking a one of the Lake Michigan beaches as well as a corner lot where a house was torn down a few years ago. My thanks in advance to you experts who reply.
