I just started reading Handbook Of Geophysics In Archaeology by Alan Witten. I would recommend it for anyone who wants to understand how to go about looking for buried objects but might feel that most geophysics books are too complex and mathematica. It was written for non-science majors in college and is quite easy to read. If you want more in depth and theoretical books look at my other posts.

Thanks Ryan, I 've always wanted to look into it a bit more, but was put off by what you just mentioned.... I think I'll look for it. :)
