Hi new to metal detecting,just got our very 1st metal detector a few weeks ago. It's a Bounty Hunter tracker 4. Not really sure where some good places to go are can anyone help? So far the only place we have used it is just around the yard. We are in St.Helena parish.

This was a "dumb luck" find and got me wanting a metal detector. We were digging a fire pit a few years back and came across this. Not exactly sure how it is we cleaned it up,still has a few rust spots on it still.
