New from KS

New to the hobby (still working on getting my first MD) and new to the site. My neighbor got me into buying silver and after doing some hunting I stumbled across this forum and I have fallen in love. I haves live all over central and western Kansas and not once heard of any treasure but I guess I wasn't in the know. After doing a little research I believe I am ready to take on this hobby head on! Loving history, geology, and who doesn't want to stumble across long forgot buried treasure, I feel this could be a life long addiction for me. Well thanks for your time and happy hunting.

Thanks for the welcome! I saw some interesting threads on western Ks I wouldn't mind checking out. I used to live up in Ellis and I love that area, wouldn't mind getting around Cedar Bluff and Big Creek. Also down towards Dodge along the Arkansas. Would love to find that Spanish Gold I keep reading about!
