I am new to this site and new to treasure hunting. I am currently looking for a metal detector. Looking for advise on which is the best for the money. I am trying not to spend to much until I find out if I really enjoy it or not. I love being outside and really need the exercise.

Any advise on the best MD for the beginner....Thanks

Welcome to TN from Texas! Call Mike, at Woodland Detectors, great guy to deal with and he will treat you right! Depending on what you want to spend, a good all around detector would be the GARRETT AT PRO (some may disagree), but talk to Mike about it.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I have really been looking and doing research and I really like the Garrett 350 for me and I amgoing to get my son the Bounty Hunter 1st Texas Pilot,They have a deal on buy one get one cheap at Kellyco. any comment or advise on these 2 or the company Kellyco?
