That would be a banner day for me personally, congratulations on great finds and why aren't you back in that field?????

It will be hard to beat that hunt. Great job Wes. I echo DV ~ better hurry back before someone beats ya to it!

Congrats Wes! Thats a rare day for sure. Is that staff button period or post war?

Got permission to metal detect a new site here in Virginia and on the first day it gives up three Virginia buttons and one ended up being a V.M.I cadet button, SWEET. You can check out the live video on my Youtube page Wes-N-VA Mid Atlantic Relic & Coin Hunters. Thanks and HH!

Congrats Wes on that nice trifecta of Va buttons. Don't see that happen very often. And I can't believe you found a wheat-less field.

nice saves!

Great start to a new site, time to grid it out...

Fantastic finds! A VA button has been on this Virginia native's list for a long time.

Damn good hunt!

Nice Wes! A VMI cadet button is definitely on my bucket list. Soon, maybe soon . . .

Bill, I agree with your statement. The wheat is crazy this year! Another thing I have noticed is the cotton stalks, it seems the farmers did not bush hog them down to the ground like years past. They picked the cotton and then threw out the drill and put in the wheat. I hope this is not a trend for years to come? Wait all year just to see wheat go in, very depressing! Thanks for the comments!

Nice finds, How deep were they ? Do you like the duce?

Don't really get hardly any CW artifacts here, so that would be a super sweet day! Congrats! and you're just getting started in that field! HH
