Indian tool artifact? Help!
Hello,

I have held on to this rock since I was young because it was different never knowing what it could be , but I always kept it around. No one ever thought it was more than just a smooth cool rock. I now come to notice it could have been a hand tool of some type. I have noticed 2 notches on thinner end. The rock is incredibly smooth, about 2.75inch in length, with about .5in on small side to .75 in on wider side, and a solid grey look. Sounds like glass or something that would shatter when tapped on. May even have some markings on it that have been worn. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Found in Rhode island.

In the top picture you can kinda see the 2 notches i am talking about easier to see and feel in person. also the smoothness of this stone and the wide end looks like it could have been sharpened from each side. any clue on what type stone mineral it could be?

Worn river rock IMO it is to small to be a pestle just look at the size in your fingers and try and imagine doing any type of grinding with it.
