Redid my electrolysis setup this morning. I added a copper gang bar and tapped it so I can clean 6 small to medium iron relics at once. It actually seems to work better by adding more iron to the mix?? I included a picture of the "tank" which I made out of an old Legos tub and a iron key I dug.. I'll post pictures after the key has been in the tank a few hours.

*** Ok, after finishing up in the tank.. here is the key after it was done. It has been brushed and dried. i will coat it with some wax after I dry it out a bit more.

That's a pretty impressive setup. Hope it does the job for you. I'm looking forward to the finished results.
Good Luck!

It is!! I just pulled everything out to check and hit with a brass brush.. the artillery pieces are cooking very well.. the key didn't.. I had to hit it with a piece of sandpaper to get a good connection. I had been using this setup and doing only one piece at a time.. it was going way, way too slow!!.

Nice set up and seems to do the job very well.

Thanks.. It is working very well.. my was tweak.. adding the gang bar and more iron really seems to have speeded up the process.. not sure if I didn't have enough current flowing or what but each piece is cleaning up a lot faster then it did before when I was doing it one relic at a time..

Awesome set up MB!
Are you using a battery charger for the power? I'd love to make a set up like that.
Impressive for sure

When you get the bugs worked out do us a favor and post a "How To" so we can all have one :icon_pirat:
