I know, that would work out great for us...decrease production of paper dollars and increase production of dollar coins, we would be able to find the dollars plus we could hoard the paper money because it would have a low mintage and would be worth more

That would be great - but I don't think it would ever happen.

I know that I personally try to spend $1 coins all the time, but I very much doubt they ever end up back in circulation - people seem to hoard them.
