Here is the best Cahokia Disc. I have ever owned and I just got it about a week ago from a good buddy of mine. I traded a real nice clovis for it. I will post new hardstone frame pics. after the show this weekend, with anything new I pick up. This one is from the old Ed Miners collection, who was collecting around the time of B.W. Stevens. Happy Hunting!

Hey Man,

That is awesome. I dont have one of those in my collection. I dont even know of any being found in Louisiana though they may have been. Set me straight...just what were discoidals used for...I have heard game stones...chunky....and other things as well. What is your take? At any rate you have a gem there, though I would have been hard pressed to have parted with a Clovis. Thanks for sharing it.

Hey Atlantis,
They were used as game stones, and some are made better than others. I may try and pick up another one this weekend, but will have to see what I have to work with as far as trade and cash. If i do than I will be putting together a frame of them and will post pics. if all goes well. The Clovis I traded for it is in my avatar, the one on the far left.
P.M. is on it's way to you bud.
