New coil and BT headphones/earbuds

So my first question is.
I have a older XLT detector that just came back from repair. The guy tells me the coil is working but is showing weak, and I may want to buy a new one. He says they only make a couple anymore that will work. My question is back in the day I'm sure they made more than two. buying used doesn't bother me, but I don't know what to buy.

Second question is do they make a BT transmitter than I can make work with my machine and earbuds? He wanted to sell me one but it was crazy money.

Anyone have a ideas for me?
