Nice un dandy...I can't imagine trying to chop down a tree with one of those.I assume that's what they were used for, must have taken awhile.You must have quite a collection of axes right about now.How bout a group photo?
 

I'll see what I can, but no sunlight makes for tough photo's, but I'll try anyway.

My best 3/4 groove axes! Forgot to tell you all that the biggest axe is 8 and 5/8 long, and the smallest axe is a little over 2 inches.

Wow, you have alot of them.That's quite a collection of axes.I have one and it looks rather crude... but it is an axe.Thanks for showing your collection to us Andy.
