The acorns have been plentiful this year, and when they fall against my tin roof it sounds like we are being bombarded with Minnie Balls. So, with that in mind, the prize in this contest is a like-new copy of the great book, Battefieds of the Civil War by Peter Cozzens as shown below.

All you have to do is guess how many acorns it took to fill the bowl shown in the photos below. The first person to correctly guess the amount will be declared the winner. If there are no correct answers November 1, 2020, the person whose guess is the closest without going over will be declared the winner.
