Some type of folding pocket knife maybe a Barlow.
Clover brand harmonica or harmonophone. I can't find much info on the company. Not likely old enough to be civil war. I'd guess turn of the 20th C.
I can't find any thing on that company either. Thinking at this point it may not be a harmonica part. I have googled every possible clover thing I could think of to google.
It seems Clover harmonicas were made by the C. A. Seydel Söhne company of Germany around 1900. They are still in business.
The reason I don't thinnk your relic is CW era is because, to my knowledge, only Hohner was producing harmonicas with metal cases in the 1860's and they were not yet shipping to America in any volume. Many harmonica reeds are dug in CW camps as it was a popular form of entertainment. But only the reeds survive as the cases were made of wood.
