New at collecting and have some unkown rocks

So I'm new at collecting minerals and gems but really want to get into it and would like some advice on were to look and what to look for
Also found these I know one of them is a geode and the others prob just a smooth rock

You are right, the bottom piece is a small part of a Geode. The other two are Quartz but the one in the middle pic was tumbled in a stream for a very long time. The orangish/brown on both is from Iron deposits in the area. If you are in an area known for Gold, pieces like the piece in the top pic is what you are wanting to see!

Your item in the second photo somewhat resembles a gastrolith, (dinosaur gizzard stone).





If you can find more in the immediate area that look the same (they may not be all the same size), it is likely that it is a gastrolith.
