It maybe a Colt of some sort. How many rings are on the bullet? Also, will you provide the measurements of it?

The little off white bullet is 1/2 inch long has only 1 ring on it,no hole in the bottom of it.The other pieces are gray and white and have a whole in them, except the larger one.

Your longer slender bullet is more modern than Civil War. It appears to be a dropped round from a deer hunter that has deteriorated over the years. The brass shell casing is missing some of the top where the actual projectile would have fitted tightly. The base of the shell is the giveaway. The indention that goes around the shell at the base is designed for the ejector or extractor mechanism on a more modern weapon to grab onto to pull the shell from the weapon either after it is fired or while unloading. The writing on the bottom will tell you the caliber. Can't tell from the picture but you will see something like 30-30 or 30-06 or some other caliber indicator on there when you get it cleaned to a point that you can read it.

Not uncommon to find hunting ammo from any period before and after the civil war on a civil war battle area or encampment area. Lots of hunting went on in those locations all the way up till present day. Also possible that it could be something from the Spanish American War or WWI or WWII vintage military but clearly more modern that CW. Your smaller white projectile could be a pistol bullet or possibly an early .22 caliber round. The solid base would match either

Some of your other items are definetly CW era though. You are on the right track. Keep hunting the area if you can and I am sure you will find some good stuff!

P.S. That White's 6000 Di Pro is a really great machine. I hunted for years with one and they are still a favorite among relic and coin shooters alike. You should do well with it.
